Hawaii
Hawaii is the youngest of all the American states. The weather is warm all around the year and surf is always up. But on the winter there can be snow and frost on the top of the mountains. There are a lot of history to discover, the Bishop museum to learn about the polynesian voyagers, who came here hundreds of years before Captain Cook dropped anchor in 1778. On the top of Aloha tower is it able to see how Honolulu has become a modern urban city.
Tourist coming there and as usually for beaches and watersports, its a lot of business in honolulu that the tourist comes for too. Honolulu means sheltered bay. Honolulu have a good and well known zoo, they have animals like elephants to exotic birds. there are a very known and special vulcan who named is diamond head vulcan. On the Island Hawaii they have got two vulcans that often have volcanic eruptions.
Hawaii is a group of Islands in the pacific ocean. Its a federal state of USA. All the Islands are old vulcans who stands on the seabed. There are many seamounts and a new island starting to grow of all the volcanic eruptions. It was 1959 the group of Islands become USA:s 50:e federal state.
The islands are in a long chain, the biggest name is Hawaii. On the Island oahu are the capital Honolulu. The group of Islands have 1,3 millions inhabitants. The population is very mixed and consists of descendants from Polynesians, Europeans, Chinese, Filipinos and more.
Poke is a special food and its very popular and one of the island’s favorite food. Its made of raw, fresh fish, seaweed, hawaii salt and some pasta or kukui nut relish. Poke literally means slice or cut.
