Australia
Australia is the smallest continent, but it is still an independent country. It is in the Pacific Ocean in the southeast of the world. In Australia it lives 23,1 million people and the capital is Canberra. Australia is about the size of Europe if you don’t count Russia. The country consist of one big continent and a smaller island in south that is called Tasmanien.

natur: Australia has a flat landscape and its most desserts and some hills. All the big mountains in Australia is in the south or in the east of the country. one of the biggest mountains in the east is named “Great dividing range” and the mountains in south calls “Australian Alps and snowy mountains”
Ayers rock is a big mountain in the middle of the Australia. it is also named Uluru and it is called that because the people that lived there before the english men come to Australia called it Uluru. it is 340 m high
In the east Australia it is very hot in the summer but it is windy and that makes it cold at the coast. In Australia it don’t rain much and that makes the country don’t have many rivers. the most important river in the country is Murray and the tributary Darling. Many of the rivers dry out in the summer and before they get to the oceans.
in the northeast of the country there is a tropical and subtropical with rainforest and mangroves. in the north of the country in the sea, the huge coral reef spreads out and take place in the sea. It is a fantastic nature phenomena. It is structured by dead corals.
sport: one of the most important sports in Australia is “Australian Football” it is a tough ball sport. some other populär sports is “cricket, swim sports, football and motor sports,
history: most of Australia and Tasmania have been populated of aborigines about 40 000 years. Australia were long unknow for the europeans. it was first when the english man James Cook came there in 1770 and maked the country english. in the first place the english man send many prisoners to Australia. when they realised that Australia were good for sheeps many sheep owners escaped to Australia. the big invasion of the europeans take place in the 1850 century when they find very much gold on the continent. 1901 the Australian confederation formed. the before six colonies been into one big country.
Australia got two big buildings in Sydney that they got famous from and that buildings are named

New Zealand
You can see Whales in New Zealand and even cute dolphins. And go to a place who name Far North. You can trekk in the mountains. And go to a National Park.
In New Zealand they eat much meat, fish and chips, clams, sushi and many different desserts. And they drink a lot of wine, specially white wine. White wine is their speciality.
Its a very nice nature in New Zealand. Near the coast in north it is much of valleys and plains. in the winter it is very much snow there. New Zealand is a country in Osianien. It consists of two islands. North and south. In south is much montains and stones and in north is very much grass and trees.
It’s raining much in New Zealand. And that is good agriculture and industries. popular music in New Zealand is pop, jazz, rock, country and blues.
