The biggest city in California is Los Angeles. Also called the city of angelse or LA. Los Angeles is one of the biggest cities in the USA with over 18 millions residents. The most knowed district in LA is probably Hollywood with a population of 135 000 people. Hollywood is that place that most movies and series in USA are produced. If you are a tourist you can visit the movies companies and the amusement park that is in Hollywood.

For example you can visit universal studios that is the oldest still running movie company in America. They got a theme park, that is inspired by their lastest movies and populars tv - shows. You can also go for a studio tour. There you can see some sets that are used in the movies, which seem pretty cool. Many of the big movie companies aren’t in Hollywood but they are not so far away.

You can also go down the “Walk of Fame”. Where many famous people got their own star or you can drive past some celebrity homes in Beverly Hills. The shopping in Beverly Hills is the expenciest and most exclusive in the whole world.

Not very far from LA, in Anaheim there is Disney Land. There you can meet the disneys figures like Donald duck and Mickey Mouse alive. You can also go for a adventure in the fantasyland. Disneyland in Anaheim opened for the first time 1955 and had since then had over 600 millions guests.

Californien has a lot of beaches. West from LA there is a popular resort town in USA called Santa Monica. Santa Monica has a big famous pier with many fun things to do.

Not far from Santa Monica there is venice beach. Which is much more than just a beach. You can play basket, train, skate, play volleyball and much more. There is also a long promenade with a lot of restaurants.

So if you ever planning to go to Californien, you would probably never get bored. Because there is so many things to do. In Los angeles there are also a lot of museums to see, and new things to try.

Texas

Geography- Texas is a state in USA. Texas is in the south, by the seacoast.The state is between Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Mexico and the mexican golf. Austin is the capital but Houston is the biggest city. Texas has about 24 millions inhabitants

Texas has differents kinds of terrain. It has desert, mountains, forest, rivers and coasts. Just because it has a big square of desert, you can call it the wild western.

Texas has a flog of its own. On the flag there is a star and that’s why Texas is called Lone Star State.

Economy- Texas has different kinds of economy. The have/sell oil, natural gas, agricultural, manufacturing, information teknic and energy trade.

Event/person- A “famous” person in Texas history is Edward “Ed” Gein. He is famous for one thing, He was a serial killer. He had one type of disease, nekrofilisk behavior. Another name he is known as, is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

History- Many years ago, Texas had a lot of indian tribes. In 1936 Texas got their declaration of independence.

Travel- To go to Texas you can come by airplane, boat and by car.

Food- The official food in Texas is Chili con Carne, but instead of vegetables, it is whole chili peppers. In Texas you often eat meat and pork!

Experience- When you are in Texas, there are a few things you gotta do: Bullriding or Sheep riding,Imax theatre, Texas trail rides and zoo.

Extra/Animal- Texas has 16 poison snakes, nine of them are rattlesnakes. The dangerous snake in Texas is Coral Snake. They are often red, black, white and yellow. That’s the signal that the snake is poison. There are almost one shark attack every year. Especially by the Galveston bay.
